Pupils’ Performance-Potential Challenge

Over the past year, one of the many things I’ve learned from teachers is the difficulty that pupils have in sharing the personal qualities that underpin their performance.

Knowing your distinctive strengths and how to transfer them to new situations is the key to demonstrating your future potential to universities and employers.

The Learning to Flourish evidence-based workshops use real-life exercises to help pupils explore their potential through 3 new Rs:

  • Self-awareness of how to use their resources to develop new skills
  • Insight into building authentic relationships that play to their distinctive strengths
  • Resilience to seize new opportunities and bounce-back when things go wrong

In my work as a psychologist in organisations, I use these principles to help business leaders discover and develop the potential that underpins their success; giving pupils a head start is the most rewarding part of my work.
